This article covers how to change your username for dialup Internet access in Apple Macintosh Operating System 9.

Manual dial instructions

Click on the Apple in the top menu bar and then go to Control Panels and click on Remote Access.

With the Remote Access dialog box open, enter the following information for Remote Access dialup connection:

Registered User: CHECKED
Name: username@wingnet.net
Password: Your password
Save Password: CHECKED
Number: Your local dialup number

Click on Connect to get connected
